Tixel: Eliminate Wrinkles Around The Eyes & Mouth

If you are looking for a way to improve the lines and wrinkles around your eyes and mouth, we are excited to introduce Tixel, a new solution for you.

Based on advanced thermo-mechanical technology, Tixel delivers thermal energy to the surface of the skin in a fractionated manner through a titanium tip with many tiny pyramid-shaped cones. The goal of this treatment is to stimulate collagen and improve the appearance of wrinkles.

Tixel is ideal for patients with fine wrinkles around the eyes (or mouth) and is safe for any skin type. The treatment consists of 3-5 sessions performed a month apart by our skilled nursing staff. After applying a topical anesthetic, the procedure is very comfortable and quick. Recovery includes mild swelling and redness for 1-2 days, followed by fine speckling that fades over approximately 5 days.

Wrinkles around the eyes can be difficult to treat and we are thrilled to offer this new, effective solution with minimal down time. Tixel also creates small channels that allow the skin to absorb specific, recommended products (think Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid) even better. For added impact and enhanced results, our dermatologists can combine Tixel with other tried-and-true therapies such as topical retinoids and neuromodulators (e.g., Botox, Dysport and Daxxify).
